The interface and radio adapter cable is plug and play, it is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.

The cable also provides a speed pulse (for GPS) reverse output (for an aftermarket reverse camera) and handbrake output signal to the new stereo. The AUX 3.5mm jack below the original radio is retained with this interface by connecting the left and right inputs (2 RCAs) found on the back of most double DIN aftermarket radios that don't feature an AUX jack on the front panel. The USB can be retained with part 24-250.

The interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons.
